Suggested Shopping List:
We regularly need:
vegetable oil, sugar, coffee, SPAM, and white rice
- American food: Pasta Sauces!!!!, pasta, condiments, baked beans, fruit, boxed entrees, crackers, snacks, mac & cheese, mayonnaise, spam
Ethnic Needs:
- Asian: Rice noodles, soy sauce, fish sauce, SPAM (spam and rice popular)
- African: Yam flour, tomato products, canned fish, spam or corned beef (rice and beans popular)
- Hispanic: Salsa or hot sauce, tortillas (rice & beans popular)
- Baby items: size 5,6,7 and Pullup diapers especially, baby wipes, baby milk formula
- Suggested proportions: 2/3 nonperishable food + 1/3 hygiene, household & baby items
- Gift cards are also welcome: Aldi, Cub, Wal-Mart, etc.
Volunteering:
We are grateful for all the individuals and group volunteers from Parishes, Schools, Scouting, and more, especially during the busy Holiday season, who make our Food Shelf possible.
Those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or youth minister.
