Based at St. Casimir parish on the eastside of Saint Paul, the Karen Catholic Community is shepherded by their official Chaplain, Fr Seraphim Wirth, fbp. We are grateful to the Oblate priests that have pastored St Casimir and welcomed the Karen community at this parish.

The Karen Mass each Sunday is celebrated mostly in the Karen language, with a homily translated by a native speaker. Fr Seraphim has learned the Eucharistic Prayer in Karen, so it is very special for the Karen to be able to pray in their mother tongue. Learn more about the Karen refugees in the Service tab.
