The Franciscan Brothers of Peace have a rich array of patron saints blessing our community.
Our Lady, Queen of Peace, the patron of our motherhouse, helps us cultivate the peace of Christ in our hearts, friary, neighborhood, and world.
St. Francis inspires us to love Christ above all and become true Instruments of Peace in rebuilding the dignity of the Human Person in our broken world.
St. Joseph intercedes as the Patron of Religious Brothers and helps us to grow in Chastity, Poverty, and Obedience.
St Peter reminds us to lay down our lives for the Church, and to pray faithfully for the Servant of Servants, Pope Francis and Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI.
St. Paul reminds us to preach the Gospel in season and out of season, and to pray faithfully for our Archdiocese named after him, our Archbishop Hebda, and the flock entrusted to his shepherding care.
St. Maximilian Kolbe intercedes as a Franciscan Giant for our growth in Marian devotion, laying down our lives for the dignity of the Family, using media and technology for the kingdom, and evangelizing the Japanese culture.
Pope St. John Paul II inspired many of our vocations; several brothers got to meet him in person. He intercedes for us as we strive to build the culture of Life from womb to tomb, helping us become missionaries of Christ's mercy to all we meet.
Blessed Solanus Casey teaches us genuine humility, Franciscan joy, and filial gratitude: to thank God ahead of time for His generous Providence.
Saint Margarita di Costello reminds us to serve Christ in all the disabled and medically vulnerable and to persevere in fighting for Life from womb to tomb.
and so many more...
